Traditional Wear's In India



Hello Guy's. India is famous in the World for it's tradition and designer clothes. In India, everyone wears different types of clothes. History of Indian clothes starts before 500 years. The cotton industry in ancient India was well developed and several of the methods survive until today. Sarees, Lehnga Choli, Salwar Kameez are famous in the woman and Panche or Lungi, Sherwani, Kurta-pajama and Pheta are famous in men's clothing.


Traditional Wears In India:-

1.Sari:- Sari is the famous cloth for women in India. A sari is a strip of unstitched cloth, ranging from four to nine meters in length, that is draped over the body in various styles. There are various traditional styles of saree are available such as Sambalpuri Saree from East, Kanchipuram from South, Paithani from West and Banarasi from North.





Lehenga choli:- Lehenga choli is famous traditional cloth in Rajasthan and Gujrat. It is a combination of lehenga a tight coil and an odhani.
A lehenga is a shape of long skirt and it is embroidered thick border at the bottom. Choli is a blouse shape cloth. Many types of lehenga choli are available according to traditional festival.







Salwar Kameez:-  The Salwar Kameez is the traditional wear of women in Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh. this is the most popular dress for females mostly unmarried girls. It looks like loose trouser and a tunik on the Top. Women generally wear a dupatta with salwar comes to cover their head and shoulders.





Panche or Lungi:-  A Lungi also known as sarong it is a traditional garment of India mostly it is white.Generally it is two types open lungi and the stitched lungi.It is mostly popular in south India.





Sherwani:- A Sherwani looks like a long coat. The length is mostly just below the knees. The Sherwani is worn with tight fitting pants or trousers.Sherwani is usually worn during the wedding ceremonies. It may be embroidered with gold or silver.

Whether it's a festival or wedding function, india's first choice is ethnic wear and everyone of us like ethnic wear because of it's feel and comfort.
